"The hotel was clean and was in an ok location, but the decor of the rooms were a little dull. The desk was not big enough to work on, there was no internet access, the lighting left the room still feeling "dark". The choice of several different chairs including a "lazy boy" recliner, gave the room a hodge-podge look about it. The swimming pool and hot tub were not open and did not appear to be maintained.
On the other hand, they cleaned the parking area daily, the maid service did keep the bathroom and bed clean and tidy.
The location was pretty central to all the shopping and resturant locations, but on the whole, I would only recomment the San Miguel as a 3rd choice for lodging."
